Wunjida is an Indigenous-led business grounded in culture and community, providing essential hire, servicing and workforce solutions across Far North Queensland.
Founded on Country, we exist to bridge community and industry — supporting major works through reliable equipment, skilled local people and a genuine respect for land and culture.
The name Wunjida means “It will be alright” — a Yalanji expression of assurance and resilience that guides how we work: with integrity, accountability and care for Country.
Core Services

HIRE
Light Vehicles, Heavy Machinery, Generators and Lighting Towers — available for short or long-term hire, mine-spec compliant and rapidly mobilised to remote sites.

SERVICING
On-ground maintenance, scheduled servicing, installations and modifications.
Mine compliance and safety upgrades performed to meet operational standards.

PEOPLE
Locally sourced labour wherever possible, including licensed operators, mechanical support and Indigenous engagement staff drawn from the communities we serve.
